I just managed to upgrade this blog to Wordpress 2.7.The upgrade process went smoothly and now we have a bunch of new features and a brand new GUI to use! :D

What you need to do before upgrading is make sure that your plugins are compatible with this new version.

I only have 5 of them and they seems to still be working after the upgrade besides the All In One SEO Pack but I guess I can live without it for a while.

Then you just need to overwrite all the files with the new ones and don’t forget to edit the wp-config.php with your server credentials.

The great news is that you don’t need to overwrite anything anymore. In Wordpress 2.7 the upgrade process is built in the core so next time you just need to click on the upgrade button and it will do everything for you.
